Manually add or change the position of your button or add a standard button to you're template |
|||||
Sometimes the button is incompatible with certain templates as it will by default always display in the same position.
You can also manually edit the code to wherever you like in the description field. You can only edit a button as we add specific code for each item. Step 1: Once the button is added to the selling item you can go to you're "My eBay" and click on active listings ![]() Step 2: In the active listings select the item you want to edit and click "edit selected" on the edit button: ![]() Step 3: Go to the "Describe the item you're selling" section and the trick here is to click just behind the chat app button and add a couple (4 or 5) of extra spaces. After which you need to select it with you're mouse from right to left: ![]() Step 4: Now place you're mouse where you would like the button to be placed and choose paste. ![]() As you can see the button is placed at the specified location. If you whish you can remove the spaces. ![]() OPTIONAL ADVANCED MODE: You can also edit the html directly, but you will require some html skills for this or else you can mess up you're advert. Use at own risk: step 1: Repeat steps one and two and click on HTML tab ![]() Step 2: Find <!--Start live chat--> and <!--end of live chat--> tags in the code using cntrl-f (find in browser) (remember to select the inside of the field first or else the browser will search the page not the field.) ![]() Step 3: Right-click to cut and paste it where ever you like inside you're description field or paste this code inside you're template. However if you paste the code inside you're template it will look like the chat is comming from the same item in you're chat admin screen. This can be a bit confusing and you will have to ask the buyer yourself. ![]() We do not support to edit this inside the code yourself. Team Wiqet |
